Skunk Anansie have confirmed a very special "unplugged" show for London. This new gig will be the first time the band have ever given a full unplugged live performance and the incredibly intimate event will take place at Cadogan Hall in Chelsea, West London, on April 15th 2013.
With over 5 million album sales to their name, Skunk Anansie have shared stages globally with the likes of U2, Aerosmith, Lenny Kravitz and Rammstein. In addition, you may recall their headline performance at the 1999 Glastonbury Festival.
Since stepping out of hiatus in 2009, Skunk Anansie have embarked on a sell-out European tour and have performed at various European festivals, including Download festival and Pukklepop.
Following the September 2012 release of latest album 'Black Traffic', their first release since they reunited in 2009, Skunk Anansie have announced a UK tour for March, ahead of this new London date.
Speaking about the special unplugged date, Skin said: “We're really looking forward to Skunk Anansie Unplugged, it's going to be a really special show for us with loads more people onstage, re-worked classics and some songs we've never performed live before.”
