Fresh from the studio where the band recently recorded a new album, Six.by Seven have announced a one-off gig at The Water Rats, Kings Cross, London on Thursday April 4th. Doors open 19:30 hours.
The legendary music venue has seen the likes of Editors, Ash, Feeder and even Oasis on an early headline tour take to the stage but it is most famous for hosting Bob Dylan’s first ever UK gig in 1962.
Six.by Seven last played here in 1998 when the band were in their infancy, and they plan on playing the new album in it’s entirety for the first time; this will also be the first outing with ex-Placebo drummer Steve Hewitt in the ranks.
The gig can be seen as a prelude to more dates (currently being finalised), that will give the band a chance to showcase their new material around the UK.
