Agnetha Faeltskog Announces Solo Album - ABBA Reunion On The Way?

Agnetha Faeltskog - a former member of Swedish pop phenomenon ABBA - has come out of retirement to release a solo album, fuelling rumours that the group may get back together.

The singer will release new record ‘A’ - her first album for over 10 years - on May 13th, and it has been preceded by new single ‘When You Really Love Someone’ - you can check out the video for that below.

Speaking to Sky News, Faeltskog explained how the album came into fruition.

“I never thought I would sing again, but when I heard the first three songs I couldn't say no,” she told the site. “I hadn't written music in a very long time, but when I sat down at the piano it came to me very naturally.”

The singer reportedly collaborated with songwriter and producer Joergen Elofsson, and he said of Faeltskog: “She's a musician, a songwriter and singer who hasn't done that for a while. We saw her open up, become much happier with music again in her life.”

The 62 year-old is best known as a member of ABBA, and although former member Bjoern Ulvaeus has denied they’ll ever get back together, this new album has sent fans wild with hope that they’ll perform as a group at least one last time.

They’ve already hit Twitter to discuss the possibility of a reunion - one fan asked Billboard:
