Award-winning rockers Kings of Leon have confirmed that their new album will be out in September - and have claimed that it’s a ‘surprisingly youthful sounding’ record!
Fans have been waiting for a new KoL album since 2010’s ‘Come Around Sundown’, and have now been given a deadline for the new record - which is currently being mixed down in the studio.
Speaking to NME, bassist Jared Followill revealed: “I thought we were going to make a really mature album but I'm amazed how youthful it sounds. It's like a mix of 'Youth & Young Manhood' and 'Because of the Times'.”
The announcement is brilliant news for Kings of Leon fans, and means that they’ll have a load of new material to perform when they headline V Festival this August, as well as on their summer UK tour.
