One Direction Planning UK Summer Stadium Tour For 2014?

World beating boyband One Direction could be set to tour UK stadiums in 2014, as demand for the five lads continues to skyrocket.
The X Factor group are still completing the remainder of their current SOLD OUT UK arena tour, but with 1D taking over the world in the past year, it appears our arenas are no longer big enough to handle them - and so a stadium tour looks set to be scheduled for next year.
Though it’s a massive leap for anyone to take - especially boys of such young age - a source close to them believes its a ‘natural progression’, considering the phenomenal success of their Take Me Home tour, which saw them selling out a staggering ten shows at London’s O2 Arena.
A source told Stereoboard: “The boys' management are currently discussing taking their show to stadiums next summer to meet the huge demand anticipated from their phenomenal fan base.”
They added: “After the huge success of their arena tour, where they sold out 10 nights at London's O2 Arena, performing at stadia seems a natural progression for the band.”
Nothing official has been set yet, but we understand 2014 tour plans are at an early stage - so don't expect an announcement though until towards the end of the year. For now, you can grab tickets to their remaining arena tour dates - it could be the last time you catch the boys in such an intimate venue!
