American superstar Justin Timberlake performed for one of the few people in the US that hold a bigger profile than himself earlier this week - president Barack Obama!
Spending the whole of Wednesday (April 9th) with Obama and his family, Timberlake helped celebrate Memphis soul music, teaching a workshop he dubbed ‘Soulsville’ alongside Barack’s wife Michelle, and then performing for an intimate crowd at the White House.
The concert - which also saw the likes of Ben Harper and Mavis Staples singing live - will be aired on PBS on April 16th, as part of their ‘In Performance at the White House’ series. You can check out a video of the Timberlake’s effort below.
Timberlake performed his own rendition of Otis Redding’s ‘(Sittin’ On) The Dock of the Bay’ - check it out below and let us know what you think of his version in the comment box below!
You'll also find links to grab tickets for Wireless Festival - which will see Justin Timberlake, Jay-Z, and then both of them headlining this summer.
