South Wales' no-nonsense rockers, Spyglass have begun recording sessions for a brand new EP/album.
Since forming in Cardiff at the start of 2012, Spyglass, with members hailing from a variety of musical influences across various decades, are on a mission having grown tired of the flavour-of-the-month trends that dominate the current music scene.
With influences ranging from 90s grunge and metal, infused with a touch of blues and flirtations with the danceable grooves of disco, Spyglass (formerly known as Spyglass Alternative) are currently performing around Cardiff, Bristol, Swindon and Chepstow promoting their debut EP, 'Self-made Silencer'.
Debut single, 'Good Mistakes', has helped build on thriving fanbase, and, with their EP recorded at Stir Studios with Paul Durrant (who has worked alongside the likes of Welsh giants Manic Street Preachers, Super Furry Animals, Stereophonics and Bullet for My Valentine) and Nic Palmer, the band are excited to begin recording brand new material, the songs of which have been honed through playing live - an environment the band thrive on.
