Singer-songwriter James Blake has announced dates for a September UK tour, supporting the release of latest album 'Overgrown'.
The innovative electro singer songwriter released his acclaimed second studio album 'Overgrown' earlier this month. The album features work from both Brian Eno and Wu Tang Clan's RZA.
Blake recently revealed that he 'he doesn’t ‘care’ if people download his new album for free.' Speaking to The Guardian, while he hoped people would legally buy his new record, he also confesses that it’s a no-brainer to get the record for free.
'Why wouldn't you? My label (Universal) is hoping that on 8 April you’ll do the right thing and click the ‘Buy’ button. You should see what they’re doing online just to get people to look at the ‘Buy’ button. I'm starting not to care, to be honest.”
James Blake will kick-off his new UK tour on 18th September in Glasgow, before visiting venues in Manchester, Birmingham, Oxford and Bristol. The tour concludes with a show at London's Shepherds Bush Empire.
