Sparrow And The Workshop Unveil New Album ’Murderopolis’

Tuesday, 16 April 2013 Written by Elliott Batte

Glasgow outfit Sparrow and the Workshop have announced that their third studio album ‘Murderopolis’ will hit shelves on May 27th.

The trio bring plenty of vigour and a marked evolution of their sound to their latest record ‘Murderopolis’, which follows on from the rambunctious offering of ‘Shock Shock’, the first single taken from the new LP.

The in your face guitar and bass lines, and pounding drum beats of ‘Darkness’, ‘The Faster You Spin’ and recent single ‘Shock Shock’, emphasise the fact that Sparrow and the Workshop can truly pack a ferocious punch.

Contrasting with these are the haunting melodies of ‘Odessa’, ‘Water Won’t Fall’ and album closer ‘Happy Days’, flaunting the trio’s versatility - yet even these tracks build up to an unrelenting crescendo.
