Pharrell Williams Performs Daft Punk Collaboration ’Get Lucky’ - Watch Now

Monday, 22 April 2013 Written by Elliott Batte

American rapper and singer-songwriter Pharrell Williams performed his new track with Daft Punk and Nile Rodgers ‘Get Lucky’ for the first time on Friday night - and ended up running through the track three times.

The superstar was performing at the official HTC One launch event in New York, when he decided to give the track it’s premiere performance - you can check out a video of it embedded below.

Just before bursting into the track, Billboard reported that Williams told the crowd:

“Man these guys that made this record, they're like so far beyond their time. I'm honoured to know those guys, those robots. Those guys we have a lot of incredible history together. So when they called me over the summer, I just remembered thinking one thing…try to get lucky right?”

Williams may have performed the track, but Daft Punk themselves have yet to reveal any tour dates that they may be putting on in support of the record. Stay with Stereoboard to stay up-to-date on anything Daft Punk related - we’ll let you know if they do end up hitting the road!
