Sharon Osbourne To Return To X Factor UK, According To Reports

Monday, 22 April 2013 Written by Elliott Batte

Sharon Osbourne may be returning to the UK X Factor judging panel for a deal worth a hefty £2million, according to reports.

The TV host and businesswoman will appear on the next edition of the reality singing contest show, if reports in the The Sunday People are to be believed. Osbourne famously left the show in 2007, after apparently having a dispute with fellow judge Dannii Minogue - but it appears £2million is enough to claw her back to the panel.

A source told the paper:

“Sharon will be an X Factor judge and it is only a matter of days before the deal is finalised. She is being paid a hefty sum of £2 million as Cowell is desperate to have her on the show. She is also expecting to earn half a million more in book and publishing deals. There is no way she would turn down such a well-paid job.”

The move comes as boss Simon Cowell looks to rejuvenate the show, which has seen a decrease in ratings over the past couple of years. What do you think of the news - are you happy to hear that Sharon will be returning, or did you prefer the judging panel without her? Let us know your opinion in the comment section below.
