Rihanna Booed In Boston After Arriving On Stage Three Hours Late

Wednesday, 08 May 2013 Written by Elliott Batte

Barbados-born beauty Rihanna pulled an Axl Rose last night - after arriving three hours late to a gig in Boston.

Taking place in the local TD Garden arena, the gig had already been postponed once due to the singer coming down ill earlier this year. Fans were excited to finally see the singer live in the flesh - but after postponing the gig for a further three hours, she was met with a volley of boos when she finally made it to the stage.

According to The Mirror, she was too busy watching the Chicago Bulls play against the Miami Heat in a basketball game at a nearby venue - something which won’t please the already pissed off fans, who were forced to make it through the three hour wait with NO warm-up acts or entertainment. She was also accused of lip-synching the whole show.

As you can imagine, her fans were less than impressed, and they’ve been hitting Twitter to publicise their feelings - check out some tweets below.

However, Rihanna herself didn’t have much to say/tweet about the incident, and instead thanked fans for an ‘extra special’ show.

Rihanna embarks on the UK leg of her Diamonds world tour this summer - we hope that she’ll make it to the stage on time for those gigs! If you’re a Rihanna fan, check the dates and links below to find tickets through Stereoboard.
