If you like dubstep, Abyssal Audio are about to become your new best friends - they’ve given away their epic first ever release, the ‘Event Horizon’ EP, for absolutely FREE!
Skrillex-lovers, piss off, because this one’s not for you - brand new Cardiff-based dubstep label Abyssal Audio have arrived, and they're taking dubstep back to it’s roots with a close-to-perfection slice of 140bpm ear-candy. You’d think launching a deep dubstep label with so much brostep polluting the airwaves nowadays may be a bit of a task - so what better way to introduce themselves with a fresh EP packed with stunning quality, eclectic variety, and frequencies lower than Taylor Swift’s underpants.
Featuring tracks from producers like Cardiff legends Nanobyte to the city’s next best dubstep duo Conscious Haze, as well as riddims from Nottingham lad Outbound and badman trio Dead Noise System, this EP has already got heads turning, both online and in raves. Quality control is something seldom seen in the dance music industry these days, but with this as their first release, it seems like the Abyssal boys have got their heads screwed on - although if they’re giving it away for free, there actually must be something wrong with them!
