Karnivool Announce New Album, Single, And Tour Dates

Aussie prog-rockers Karnivool have announced a UK tour today, as well as a brand new album and single.
The five-piece last released a record in 2009 with ‘Sound Awake’, but will return later this year with ‘Asymmetry’, their third studio album. Set for a release on July 19, it’ll be preceded by it’s lead single ‘We Are’ - you can check out the official music video for that right now embedded below. ‘Asymmetry’ is available to pre-order right now - just click here.
You can catch the band performing their new tracks - plus tunes from their previous two records - live in the UK in autumn. Kicking off in Portsmouth’s Wedgewood Rooms on November 13, the tour will take them to venues in Bristol, Nottingham, Glasgow, Sheffield, Manchester, and Birmingham, before rounding off in London on the 21st.
Tickets for the gigs go on sale next Friday (June 21), and will cost you £14.00 + fees (Portsmouth £10.50 + fees) - you can find yours through Stereoboard using the dates and links below. Milton Keynes’ progressive metal outfit Tesseract will act as support band on the tour.
Karnivool’s live show is one which has received the respect of their peers and the loyalty of their fans all over the world, so it would be beyond remiss of the band to release a new record without giving those songs the chance to breathe, morph and thunder as they should in the live arena. The ‘Asymmetry’ tour will begin in earnest in Australia in July.
