One Direction Deny Drinking On Stage - After Pictures Showing Them Possibly Necking Vodka Emerge

World-beating boyband One Direction have claimed that they don’t get drunk before their live shows, after rumours that they had performed a recent concert while under the influence began circulating the web.
The X Factor lads are on top of the pop world at the moment, and their gigs are crammed full of screaming teenagers and adoring fans. But, while they enjoy playing live, some had been suggesting that they’d been enjoying themselves a little too much at concerts recently - a rumour started by some animated .gif files (1, 2, and 3) that appear to show Louis Tomlinson drinking from a bottle of ‘water’, and grimacing as if he’d, well, just taken a big gulp of vodka.
Niall Horan took to Twitter to deny the rumours, and tweeted:
I'm clearing this one up now! This bull about us being drunk on stage! No way is that true !ever ever! Who is making this shit up ?
After seeing gifs for himself, he tweeted once again - this time in a much more light-hearted manner, even claiming that they ‘always pretend’ there’s something in their water bottles!
Ah now I get why people are saying it ! Hahah! Me and @louis_tomlinson do that every night! Pretend there is something in the water bottles
