Arctic Monkeys Announce UK Arena Tour & Tickets Details

Arctic Monkeys have just confirmed details of an October/November UK arena tour. The tour will kick-off at Newcastle's Metro Radio Arena on Tuesday 22 October and conclude with a huge homecoming show at Sheffield's Motorpoint Arena on 2 November. Irish rhythm and blues foursome, The Strypes will be supporting on all dates.

This new tour will be in support of forthcoming album ‘AM’, which is set for release on September 9. ‘AM’, the band's fifth studio offering, was produced by James Ford and co-produced by Ross Orton at Sage & Sound Recording, LA and Rancho De La Luna, Joshua Tree. The album was engineered by Ian Shea and mixed by Tchad Blake.

Josh Homme, Pete Thomas and Bill Ryder-Jones all guest on ‘AM’ – as do the words of John Cooper Clarke, on the track I Wanna Be Yours. Check out the video for Do I Wanna Know? below.

'AM' will be available on CD, vinyl, special edition vinyl and via digital download. Preorder ’AM’ via Arctic Monkeys Store or Dom Mart.
