Mike Rosenberg - aka folk-rock star Passenger - has publicly thanked singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran for helping to kickstart his career.
Passenger has seen his profile explode recently, with his fourth record ‘All the Little Lights’ hitting #3 in the UK charts after three self-released records failed to break through to the mainstream. But, although he’s enjoying the success, he’s still taken time to thank Ed Sheeran.
He told Absolute Radio:
“We've been mates for about five years. We met when we were on the same bill at a local gig and really liked what each other were doing. When Ed got massive he took me on tour with him and changed my life. I love him - he's a wonderful guy.”
