Katy B Unveils What Love Is Made Of Remix - Listen Here

Friday, 05 July 2013 Written by Jon Stickler

With the release of her new single What Love Is Made Of just around the corner on July 8, the final heavyweight remix is now available to stream. Following mixes from Detroit master Marc Kinchen and UK bass don Brackles, veteran house deity Felix Da Housecat steps up to the plate to deliver a typically crisp and uplifting summer smash, providing a fitting reimagination of one of 2013's biggest endorphin rushes.

Two years ago Katy exploded onto the UK music scene and was the most engaging breakout star seen in years. Her debut album ‘On A Mission’ produced three Top 10 singles and was nominated for several awards, including the Mercury Prize and two MOBOs.

Since ‘On A Mission’ Katy has been evolving. Evidence of this lies in her more recent 'Danger' EP, featuring collaborations with Geeneus, Jessie Ware, Diplo, and Iggy Azalea amongst others. Ware appears on standout track Aaliyah, a dancefloor psychodrama in which Dolly Parton’s temptress Jolene is reborn beneath nightclub lights. This dancefloor charged EP at the end of 2012 is the perfect bridge into new single What Love Is Made Of, expanding Katy’s sound and adding fuel to the excitement building in anticipation of her forthcoming album.

Stream Felix Da Housecat's remix of What Love Is Made Of below. The official video for the track is available to watch also.
