Spinal Tap To Reunite Next Year?

Monday, 22 July 2013 Written by Elliott Batte

Christopher Guest - the creator of spoof metal band Spinal Tap - has hinted at the possibility of the band making a comeback next year, having not performed for four years.

The band last performed back in 2009 in celebration of the 25th anniversary of their rock mockumentary ‘This is Spinal Tap’, also releasing new record ‘Back from the Dead’. And now, ahead of what would be the 30th anniversary, Guest has strongly hinted at the possibility of some more shows.

He told The Observer:

“We get asked to do shows on a regular basis. But what I will say is that we're in the midst of talking about something for next year.”
