American pop star Miley Cyrus has confessed that a lyric in her track ‘We Can’t Stop’ IS about MDMA.
The once innocent former Disney star came under scrutiny after singing the lyric ‘dancing with Molly’ - featured in ‘We Can’t Stop’. The producer of the track Mike WiLL Make It had previously claimed that the real lyric was ‘Miley’ and not ‘Molly’, which is a slang term for the illegal drug MDMA. But now, Cyrus has revealed that she did actually reference the substance - saying ‘I don’t think people have had a hard time realising I’ve grown up’.
“It depends who's doing what. If you're aged ten it's 'Miley', if you know what I'm talking about then you know. I just wanted it to be played on the radio and they've already had to edit it so much. I don't think people have a hard time understanding that I've grown up. You can Google me and you know what I'm up to — you know what that lyric is saying.”
