Taylor Swift Meet And Greet Competition Binned After 39-Year-Old Man Wins

A Taylor Swift meet-and-greet competition has been cancelled this week - after internet trolls hijacked it so a rather creepy 39-year-old would win.
Boston’s Kiss 108 FM had their ‘Taylor Swift's Biggest Fan Contest’ hijacked by 4chan (and dozens of other websites) and it wasn’t long before Charles was in the lead.
An anonymous user wrote of Charles - who may or may not be real:
“My creepy 39-year-old friend named Charles would like to crush all those girls' dreams (and then sniff Taylor Swift's hair cos he's into that) by winning this instead… Help him crush the dreams of these girls and give him a chance to make a complete ass of himself by blatantly just sniffing her hair with the cameras rolling.”
His profile wasn’t much better either - that read:
“I'm a 39-year-old man and I love Taylor so much and don't care that both adults and children mock me for it.”
But, in a story of either heartbreak for Charles or hearty laughter for the internet trolls, the comp was binned after the old guy took a lengthy lead - with Kiss 108 FM claiming that the ‘integrity of the contest had been compromised’. They said in a statement:
“Disappointingly, we have determined that the integrity of the 'Taylor Swift's Biggest Fan' contest has been compromised. In accordance with our contest rules, effective immediately, the contest has been terminated. We apologise to all of our loyal listeners who have participated.”
