Lady Gaga has opened up about the "pain in the past" that she has revisited on her new album ARTPOP.
The singer looked almost unrecognisable without her usual over-the-top make up as she told fans that she thought she was ‘destroyed inside’ ahead of ARTPOP’s release on November 11.

Writing through her website Little Monsters (via The Daily Star), Gaga told fans:
“ARTPOP as they pry the single from my bleeding fingers. It’s a scary thing to revisit those things underneath, the pain in your past. But all I found was raw passion. I thought I was destroyed inside. I’m just ready to fight. Start the music.”
Gaga decide to bare all for the post’s accompanying pics, but in slightly different style to her recent shoot for V Magazine.
