Two Women Arrested Over Alleged Tomorrowland Festival Ticket Fraud

Two British women have been arrested on suspicion of fraud, after allegedly selling tickets they didn’t have for Belgium’s massive Tomorrowland festival.
The pair in question - a 50-year-old and 21-year-old from Tavistock - have been released on bail until 2014 after being charged with suspicion of committing fraud by misrepresentation.
Devon and Cornwall Police believe there could potentially be ‘hundreds’ of people all over the UK that fell victim to the scam, which saw them conning Tomorrowland out of tickets for the 2013 edition of the festival, which was attended by revellers this July.
DC Glenn Harrop was in charge of the investigation, and told the Plymouth Herald:
“We believe there are potentially hundreds of victims from across the country. I would like to ask those people to please be patient with us while we carry out some very lengthy enquiries. Any notable updates to this investigation will be posted via the Devon and Cornwall Police Twitter account and Facebook page.
“If anyone believes they have been a victim of this alleged fraud, unless already done so, they are asked to report the matter to Action Fraud as soon as possible at www.actionfraud.police.uk/report_fraud, or call 0300 123 2040 quoting crime reference number JN/13/1693.”
