Returning to the UK for the first time in over 15 years, Spacehog’s headline tour in October marks a very special homecoming for this Leeds via New York four piece.
Spacehog formed in 1994 when four expats from Leeds collided. Brothers, Royston Langdon (vocals and bass) and Antony Langdon (guitar and vocals), Jonny Cragg, (drums) and Richard Steel (guitar) became quickly infamous; their situationist concerts were legendary in the East Village.
It’s been 12 years since the release of 'The Hogyssey' and Spacehog is back, reuniting with Bryce Goggin to create fourth album 'As It Is On Earth' (out now).
Speaking about the new tour dates, the band said: "Apologies in advance to our friends in Wales, Northern Island and Eire, we can only do so much here guys! It means an awful lot to be able to go home and play to old friends, family and you, the faithful in the old country who have resisted media indifference and made your own minds up to the validity of Spacehogs’ music."
They added: "Absolutely cannot wait to play you new songs and old, along with pie, peas and a pint!"
