Saves the Day Streaming Self-Titled Album - Listen Here

Wednesday, 18 September 2013 Written by Elliott Batte

Saves the Day have released their self-titled eighth studio album.

The band have been working on their new album since December 2011 and after kickstarting a Pledge Music scheme last year to get fans involved with their work, they’ve finally finished and released their latest collection.

The record is self-titled but because of the album’s artwork - which you can see within the media player below - fans have affectionately dubbed it ‘Grapefruit’ or ‘The Orange Album’.

Spin described the album as a ‘big-hearted, high-pitched anthem that, like the recently shared [lead track] Remember, can be filed next to Saves The Day's finest work,’ while Alternative Press stated that ‘if this is what the next stage of Saves The Day's career sounds like, another few albums will be just fine’.

The new record can be streamed below. US fans will be happy to know the band are currently on tour across the country. Click here to find tickets.
