Gary Barlow And Elton John Record Duet

Tuesday, 24 September 2013 Written by Elliott Batte

Take That star Gary Barlow has reportedly recorded a duet with Sir Elton John for his new solo album.

The track is set to feature on his brand new solo album, which is due to drop on November 25. The duet's title is yet to be confirmed and its production ‘isn’t quite finished yet’, but we haven’t got too long to wait until it’ll reaches our ears.

News of the duet was broken by an ‘industry insider’, who told The Mirror:

“Gary and Elton had a really good time recording the track together. Their voices really complement each other. Now Gary and his label team are busy fine-tuning details on the album between now and the beginning of October, before his X Factor judging duties really kick in with the live shows.

“The track’s production isn’t quite finished yet, but everyone’s really excited about the vocals.”

Barlow’s new record will be his first proper studio album for over 10 years. He did, however, release a collection of collaborations with the The Commonwealth Band last year, but fans are eagerly anticipating his next LP tenfold.

Barlow may hit the road on tour to promote his new album, so keep your eyes peeled on Stereoboard for updates!
