Prince Performs To 2,000 Fans At His $10Million Minnesota Home

Monday, 07 October 2013 Written by Elliott Batte

US superstar Prince put on an epic gig at his own home and studio complex over the weekend, performing to 2,000 people.

We reported last week that the legendary singer would be putting on a surprise show featuring himself and two of his bands - The New Power Generation and latest group 3rdEyeGirl - at his Paisley Park Studio complex, and despite being given just two days notice, almost 2,000 fans turned up and paid $50 cash for what proved to be one hell of a party.

Prince’s $10million home studio - which is located near Minneapolis, Minnesota - was left open to a limited number of fans, but luckily - and despite lengthy queues - everyone managed to fit in. Cameras and mobile phones were banned, but some footage of the show had surfaced - check it out below!

Ripping through performances of 1999, Breakfast Can Wait, and Nothing Compares 2 U amongst other hits, he wowed fans alongside his various bandmates. It certainly was a one-off and probably a hell of an experience for fans.
