Neutral Milk Hotel Confirm Dates For UK Tour

Cult US fuzz folk band, Neutral Milk Hotel have confirmed a handful of UK and Ireland dates as part of a forthcoming world tour.

The band will hit the UK next spring, performing at Dublin Vicar Street on May 16, Manchester Albert Hall on May 18, Glasgow Barrowland on May 19 and London's Roundhouse on May 21 and May 22. For a full list of European tour dates, head over to walkingwallofwords.com

Neutral Milk Hotel have been on hiatus since the campaign of their last studio album, 1998's 'In The Aeroplane Over The Sea'. Aside from a live album released in 2001 and an album of Bulgarian music in 2002, the band have  remained well out of the spotlight – although you may have caught singer Jeff Mangum playing a string of solo dates in 2010. Jeff also curated ATP at Butlins in Minehead in March 2012. 

The bands will line up for the tour as Mangum, Scott Spillane, Julian Koster and Jeremy Barnes.
