Elbow Reveal Title Of New Album 'Carry Her, Carry Me'

English alt-rock icons Elbow have revealed that the title of their next studio album will be 'Carry Her, Carry Me'.

The band released their fifth LP, ‘Build a Rocket Boys!’, in 2011 and on March 10 2014 they return with a sixth. Guy Garvey has now revealed that the album will be called ‘Carry Her, Carry Me’. 

Breaking the news in an interview with Q Magazine, Garvey also explained how a stay in New York inspired some of the record’s lyrics:

“Walking around New York I feel like my antennae are up. My ears are open for snatches of beautiful conversation. In Manhattan, it just feels like all the time, any second, somebody’s going to utter that thing that changes the world.”

As well as releasing a new album in spring, and a live album, ‘Live at Jodrell Bank’, Elbow have also lined up a UK tour too, kicking off in Birmingham on April 5. If you’re a fan and need tickets, check the dates and links provided below!
