Arcade Fire have hit #1 in the UK album chart with their latest record, ‘Reflektor’.
The Canadian indie-rockers shunted Katy Perry's 'Prism' from top spot and also sent James Blunt's 'Moon Landing' tumbling to #3. Another new entry, Lorde's 'Pure Heroine' is at #4.
The band will soon land in the UK for a series of gigs as the Reflektors - another product of the intense promo campaign for the new record - with dates scheduled in London, Glasgow and Blackpool.
