Originally released in 2002 as a Saddle Creek online store exclusive with all proceeds benefiting the Nebraska AIDS Project, Bright Eyes’ ‘A Christmas Album’, containing 11 covers of Christmas songs, will be getting its first widespread commercial release on November 4.
The Bright Eyes interpretation of Blue Christmas, a holiday classic made famous by Elvis Presley, features additional vocals by Azure Ray’s Maria Taylor and is now streaming online.
The album will be available on CD, 180 gram white vinyl, and digital formats.
