How To Get Monty Python Tickets For London O2 Arena Reunion Shows

Thursday, 28 November 2013 Written by Jon Stickler

The remaining members of Monty Python - John Cleese, Eric Idle, Terry Gilliam, Michael Palin and Terry Jones - will reunite for ten live shows at London’s O2 Arena in July 2014.

The Pythons will turn out starting July 1 2014 for what Eric Idle told fans, "a little comedy, a lot of pathos." Following the almost instant sell out of their original show, four new dates were added to deal with demand, all of which sold out within a quarter of an hour. Yesterday the comedy collective confirmed a further five nights for the London residency. The new shows will go ahead on July 15, 16, 18, 19 and 20,

Speaking about the new shows, John Cleese said:

"The response to our planned reunion has been very, very silly. But we're all touched that so many fans still want to see such old people perform. So we're delighted to be adding more dates to the run at the O2."

The new run of shows in the capital will be the first time the Python collective have performed together in decades.
