Graveyard, Blood Red Throne, Battleaxe And More Confirmed For Bloodstock 2014

Bloodstock is excited to announce another Ronnie James Dio Stage band, plus four more Sophie Lancaster Stage acts for this August’s event.
Stepping up for a Saturday slot on the Sophie Lancaster Stage are Norwegian death metallers, Blood Red Throne, while NWOBHM stalwarts Battleaxe also join the Saturday bill. The Sophie Stage also welcomes Finnish self-appointed ‘death n’ roll’ outfit, Profane Omen and homegrown monolithic death metal act, The King Is Blind on Saturday. Sweden’s hard rockers Graveyard will be taking over the main Ronnie James Dio Stage on Sunday.
Last year, Bloodstock and its festival goers raised their highest figure to date for its chosen charity Teenage Cancer Trust - just shy of £7500, a £3000 increase on the previous year! The festival is now keener than ever to improve on that in 2014 and the ever-popular T-shirt Amnesty will once again be running, so bring along any unwanted rock and metal tees to either donate on site, or if you want to clear your cupboards ASAP, email music@teenagecancertrust.org for details.
Bloodstock Tickets are available now priced £130 for a 4-day Thursday to Sunday weekend pass with camping. VIP tickets and upgrades are also available. If you want to take part in the ticket deposit scheme, which helps make a ticket purchase more manageable by breaking the payment over three months, the sign up deadline is tomorrow, Friday March 7!
