The Rolling Stones have denied reports made by a national tabloid that guitarist Keith Richards has had a second brain operation to save his life.
Reports suggested his family were at his bedside, in Auckland - New Zealand, amid doctor warnings that he would never be able to perform with the veteran rockers ever again.
According to The Sun, a source said: "Everyone is worried sick about him. It is much more serious than The Rolling Stones camp have been letting people believe." But a Rolling Stones spokesman rubbished these rumours in the Mirror: "There is no brain damage, there is no paralysis, there was no second operation and there is no bedside vigil. "Keith has had one operation and has since been on the phone laughing and joking." Keith reportedly fell from a coconut tree while on holiday in Fiji last month.
