Tom Petty And The Heartbreakers To Release 'Hypnotic Eye' In July

Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers will release a new album, 'Hypnotic Eye', on July 29.
The record, the follow up to 'Mojo', is set to arrive through Reprise and will be accompanied by a tour of the US and Canada, which gets underway in San Diego on August 3. The run will feature support from Steve Winwood.
Discussing the album, which will also be included with all tickets purchased for the tour, Petty recently told Rolling Stone:
"I knew I wanted to do a rock and roll record. We hadn't made a straight hard-rockin' record, from beginning to end, in a long time."
