Hans Zimmer To Play London's Eventim Apollo In October

Thursday, 03 July 2014 Written by Jon Stickler

Hans Zimmer will perform two concerts at London's Eventim Apollo in the autumn.

The Grammy, Golden Globe and Academy Award-winning composer will call in at the historic Hammersmith venue for two-night concert series, titled Hans Zimmer Revealed.

For the shows, confirmed for October 10 and 11, Zimmer will be accompanied by a band, mixing traditional orchestral instruments with rock and electronica. Each concert will be in two parts: the first being some of Zimmer’s classic movie scores including Gladiator, The Lion King and Pirates of the Caribbean, and the second featuring re-imagined versions of some classic scores such as The Dark Knight Trilogy and Inception, with special guests from the rock and pop world.

Speaking about the concerts, Zimmer said:

“Performing a concert series like this is something that I have always wanted to do, and I am thrilled that that time has finally come. I am very excited to get some of my very talented friends together and give our audiences an experience unlike any concert they have ever been to before.”

Tickets for both concerts are on sale now, priced from £35.00, plus fees.

Hans Zimmer Upcoming Tour Dates are as follows

Fri October 10 2014 - LONDON Eventim Apollo
