North Atlantic Oscillation Unveil New Album Details And Plan October Shows

North Atlantic Oscillation have announced news of their new album, as well as dates for a short UK tour in late October.
'The Third Day', released on October 6 via Kscope, was self-produced by the band and has been put together to ensure that it flows as a piece.
Vocalist Sam Healy likened the approach to a classic Beatles record:
“I think the perfect example of this is Abbey Road, the second side of that. The legend is that John Lennon was tired and emotional at that point, and tended to spend a lot of time in darkened rooms. So Paul was the one who did the little segues between tracks on side two. The way that those tracks interweave is absolutely fantastic. Even as a kid I remember thinking ‘that’s really clever, that’s a really interesting way to take advantage of your skills as an album writer rather than just a songwriter."

The band will support the album with a handful of shows between October 21 and 24. Tickets are on sale at 10am on August 8, priced from £8.00 (£10.00 in London), plus fees.
