Kiss, Motley Crue To Close Proceedings At Download

Kiss will headline the closing night at next year’s Download Festival, with Mötley Crüe set to bid farewell at their final UK festival appearance.

Slash will also tread the boards on the main stage with Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators, while Enter Shikari have been confirmed as Sunday headliners on the second stage.

Kiss bassist Gene Simmons said: “To all our fans - our intention is to get on that stage, blow the heavens to smithereens and take no prisoners.”

Slipknot and Muse have also been booked to top the bill at Donington, while the supporting cast includes Judas Priest, Faith No More, Marilyn Manson, Five Finger Death Punch, Black Stone Cherry and A Day To Remember.

Tickets for the festival are on sale at 9am on November 20, priced at £170.00 for a weekend arena pass, £195.00 for a weekend ticket and three days camping and £205.00 for a five day stay. RIP packages are also available this year. Head here for details.
