The View will return for a new UK tour in March and April 2015.
The Scottish indie-rockers are currently recording their fifth studio album with producers Albert Hammond Jr and Gus Oberg of the Strokes, with a release date expected in the spring.
Speaking about the new record, Kyle Falconer said:
"I would say that this is the closest sounding to our debut album 'Hats Off To The Buskers'. We've kept this album quite raw whilst recording so that we will have the ability to play it live as well, if not better, as it sounds on the record."
Following a standalone hometown show on December 12, the four-piece head out on tour between March 27 and April 9, stopping in Glasgow, Aberdeen, Inverness, Manchester, Stoke, Sheffield, Liverpool, Bristol, London and Leicester.Tickets are on sale at 9am on November 28.
