LesMouches, Owen Pallett's first band, will reissue their only full-length, 'You're Worth More To Me Than 1000 Christians', through Orchid Tapes on July 28.
Originally released in 2004, the album will be pressed to vinyl for the first time. Les Mouches found Pallett, Rob Gordon and Matt Smith turning out experimental pop with jazz inflections and a healthy dose of screams. Pallett said:
“One kid I call a friend got so angry about hearing our music on Guelph radio that he wrote many posts describing us as, among other things, ‘the worst music he’d ever heard.’”
Pallett, meanwhile, has a series of shows in the diary for this summer, including UK stops in Stratford Upon Avon, Coventry, Cardiff and at Field Day and Green Man.
