The Mirror Trap have announced a UK tour and shared a video for the title track of their latest EP, 'Silent Men'.
The Dundee quintet kick things off tomorrow at the Think Tank in Newcastle. Following that they will call in Birmingham, St Albans, Stowmarket, London, Nottingham, Bristol, Leeds and Glasgow between June 1 and June 12. Tickets are on sale now. Prices start from £3.00, plus fees.
Meanwhile, check out the video for the title track of their EP, 'Silent Men', which you can stream in full now via Soundcloud. The video was shot during the band's recent tour with Placebo. Discussing the track, frontman Gary Moore said:
"If you turn on the news or pick up a newspaper you will more than likely be met with story about how immigrants and the lazy unemployed are a curse on the nation. With 'Silent Men' I wanted to write something that went against this rhetoric. Men like him are out there in vast numbers, they are the opposite of the "free-loading jobless layabouts" that we so often hear about, but no one ever speaks about them. If no one else was going to do it then I thought I might as well."
