Battles and Godspeed You! Black Emperor have been confirmed for Simple Things.
Battles are the first headliners to be announced for the Bristol festival, which will take over assorted venues in the city between October 23, 24 and 25. Godspeed You! Black Emperor, meanwhile, will play the opening concert at the Colston Hall.
Also among the first batch of names released for the event are Wire, Factory Floor, Dean Blunt, Lone, DJ Funk, Romare, Speedy Ortiz, Liturgy and Lower Dens, while DJ sets will be spun by Ron Trent, Mike Skinner, Hunee, Barnt, Helena Hauff and many more.
