Wilco have joined the growing trend for releasing albums with little or no warning, dropping ‘Star Wars’ last night as a free download.
The record is the band’s ninth and the follow up to ‘The Whole Love’. You can pick it up from their website. Jeff Tweedy said:
"Why release an album this way and why make it free? Well, the biggest reason, and I'm not sure we even need any others, is that it felt like it would be fun. What's more fun than a surprise?”
