Wax Idols To Release Third Album 'American Tragic' In October

Friday, 24 July 2015 Written by Laura Johnson

Wax Idols will release their third album, 'American Tragic', on October 16.

The band's singer-songwriter, Hether Fortune, wrote and recorded everything on the new record, with the exception of drums, which fell to Rachel Travers. Discussing her collaboration with Travers and producer Monte Vallier, Fortune said:

“I don’t want to sell those collaborators short. Rachel is a much better drummer than me, so I leaned on her to flesh out these songs after they’d been demoed. And Monte does a lot on the production side to help me actualise the noise in my head. But at this point in my career, I’m really tired of people not knowing that I do everything. Well, pretty much everything.”
