Ólafur Arnalds and Nils Frahm have lined up a surprise 7” single, 'Life Story Love and Glory'.
The pair's record is a live improvisation on two pianos, recorded in 2012. The two track release is due out exclusively through record stores tomorrow, August 21, with digital to follow. Discussing the collaboration, Frahm said:
“We would meet in Reykjavik or Berlin with the intention to share some days off work, hiking, swimming or eating pizza. That is great for a couple days, but after a while we would always end up back in the studio, fiddling with synths or pianos.”
