Underworld have announced the arrival of a new album,‘Barbara Barbara, we face a shining future’, and a brace of London shows.
The record, their first in six years, is out on March 18 and will be followed by two nights at the Roundhouse in Camden.
Accompanying the news was a trailer and a short statement from the band, both of which you can check out below.
“So what’s there in the shining future? The opening punch of a two-note detuned bass riff crunching over relentless percussion; the elegiac swoop of strings as they stretching out across off-world electronics; a demented lupine howl that curls itself into an unshakeable earworm; celestial techno and South American acoustics; voices that warp into harmonic riffs; found lyrics that form fine-tuned monologues; head music to dance to.”
Tickets are on sale at 9am on November 27.
