Eagles Of Death Metal Announced For Reading And Leeds 2016

Eagles Of Death Metal will play next year's Reading and Leeds festivals.
Alongside the news of their return to Europe for the Nos Amis Tour, arranged after the band's show at the Bataclan was targeted during the recent terror attacks in Paris, they have confirmed their appearance at the twin-site festival. Eagles of Death Metal frontman Jesse Hughes said:
“The people of Paris have always been incredible to us, and our feeling of love towards this beautiful city and its people has been reinforced a million times over this past month. Hearing the stories of the survivors, the injured and those who have lost loved ones has been overwhelming. Not returning to finish our set was never an option. We look forward to coming back in February and continuing our mission to bring rock ‘n’ roll to the world.”
Also announced for Reading and Leeds so far are headliners Red Hot Chili Peppers, as well as the 1975, Slaves, the Courteeners, Twenty One Pilots, Boy Better Know, Hinds, Rat Boy, Crossfaith and DJ EZ.
Reading festival will again head to Richfield Avenue and Leeds festival to Bramham Park between August 26 and 28. Weekend tickets are on sale now.
