Monster Truck have shared a video for Don't Tell Me How To Live.
The song is lifted from their forthcoming sophomore album, 'Sittin’ Heavy', which is set to arrive on February 19 via Mascot and Dine Alone Records. Discussing the video, directed by Davin Black, singer and bassist Jon Harvey said:
“She (Harvey's girlfriend) started giving me trouble for playing guitar every day and I replied, "This is my job, don’t tell me how to live". The song is about being independent in one’s life, rather than worrying about what people think or the expectations of other people; just be true to yourself.”
The Canadian rockers will wind up their Tourin' Heavy tour at the 100 Club on April 6, following stops in Germany, the Netherlands and France. Tickets are on sale now.
