Matthew And The Atlas, aka Matthew Hegarty, has shared a video for Temple.
The song is the title track of his new album, set to arrive on April 22 via Communion and follow up 2014's 'Other Rivers'. Describing the video, which was filmed in Portland Quarry, Dorset, director Neil Coxhill said:
“The concept of the video is playing with how, in a subtle way, small choices can have a large impact on the consequences of our future. We used time travel and paradox time-lines to communicate how a simple journey can change under the chaos of the moment. As our time-traveler (played by Matthew and The Atlas’ Matt Hegarty) creates a new timeline, the woman seeking him is given the chance to try and save him, again and again.”
Hegarty will support his new record with a headline UK tour, making stops in Bristol, Brighton, Glasgow, Liverpool, London and Manchester between April 21 and 29. Tickets are on sale now, with prices starting from £7.50 (£10.00 for London), plus fees.
