The Weeknd will no longer support Rihanna on the European leg of her Anti world tour.
The Canadian R&B singer was set to join Big Sean as support but has now cancelled, citing "unforeseen changes with upcoming projects". Promoters Live Nation confirmed the news with a statement:
"Due to some unforeseen changes with upcoming projects, The Weeknd will no longer be joining Rihanna on her upcoming international 'Anti' World Tour."
Rihanna brings the tour to the UK and Ireland in June, with stadium shows lined up in Dublin, London, Coventry, Glasgow and Manchester. It is not yet known if the Weeknd will be replaced.
